The Accelerated Free Fall Program is a worldwide standard to get a
certification as a skydiver. With only 7 jumps you can get your certificate
that allows you to jump without instructors. And if you wish to stay with a
valuable memory of your experience we can take you video and stills in free
fall. You must weight under 115 kg and be at least 18 years old (16 with
written permission from your parents).
Before the first jump, ground school takes between 4 to 6 hours. This
training is much more detailed because now you are in charge of the jump.
Two instructors will exit with you from the plane and will be flying right
next to you to guide you and assist you during the 60 seconds of the free
fall. Once you have deployed your parachute, instructors will release you
and after 5-6 minutes of canopy flying and enjoying the spectacular view,
you will be landing softly and safely assisted by radio to guide you to the
landing area. Right on the beach!.
This system is designed for those seriously interested on skydiving as
sport, or simply for those who want to make a jump with an individual rig.
The accelerated free fall program, as its name suggests, is a system that
allows you to become skydiver in the fastest and safest way. This system was
designed in the United States and SKYDIVE PUERTO is the only skydiving
school that offers this method in the country because our instructors were
trained in USA to teach it. The system consists in 7 learning levels
throughout you will develop skydiving skills both survival and maneuver. You
will be evaluated through TLO´s (Target Learning Objectives) specific for
every level and to comply with these TLO´s, you will make a jump with a
series of exercises that will be supervised and evaluated air-to-air by our
instructors. The whole program is divided in two. First you will develop
your survival skills and this will take the first three levels in which you
will get the basic knowledge and experience to stay in the sport like
knowledge and operation of the skydiving gear, basic body position, altitude
awareness and parachute deployment among others. On these 3 levels, two
instructors will be jumping with you so your learning curve will be more
efficient and safer. The remaining 4 levels will be dedicated to the
development of maneuver skills like turns, forward movement, back loops and
front loops, tracking, several airplane exits, etc. During these 4 levels
you will be jumping with one instructor to supervise and evaluate you. All
jumps are made from 14,000 feet. In order to get you into the program, you
need to attend to ground school before your first jump. This usually takes 2
to 3 classroom lessons 2 to 3 hours each and then you will be able to jump
your first level. If you wish to continue with the program, you will need 45
minutes of ground school before the next level. Once you finished your AFF
program, you will be able to get your skydiving license becoming a member of
SKYDIVE PUERTO where you will find (besides the jumps) lots of friends, fun
and a great atmosphere!

If you would like to become a skydiver, SKYDIVE PUERTO offers you the
package of 7 levels for the AFF training at only USD$1,400.
This includes, ground training for all 7 levels, transportation to the
airport for all the jumps, gear rental, airplane ride for all the jumps to
14,000 feet, instructor fees and certificate of accomplishment after you
finish your course.
With this certificate you will be able to jump on your own and every jump
after your graduation as skydiver will cost you only USD$40
